Welcome to My Blog

 Hi, my name is Danielle. I was born in Virginia, but I have lived in Florida since I was 10 years old. Currently I live in Valrico. I am a senior majoring in health science with a concentration in health information technology.

My dad was in the Navy so we moved often and because of this I went to 10 different schools before graduating high school. I love to travel with my friends and our most recent trip was to Nice, France. Other than traveling I like to watch hockey and read in my spare time. 

I have been working in childcare for 20 years so I am ready for a career change after graduation. I've been working at the same facility for the past 13 years. 

My favorite social media platforms are Twitter and Instagram. I like Twitter because it allows me to follow people related to all my interests. I can keep up with politics, hockey, and my favorite entertainers. I like Instagram because it keeps me in touch with friends and family. I am mostly a viewer and I do not post much myself. In the past I have created blogs on Live Journal and tumblr. I still use my tumblr blog occasionally. I have the most experience using tumblr. I like that on blogs you can create different types of posts, like text, pictures, videos, audio, etc. I think blogs are good for creating communities for common interests, as well as allowing the blogger an outlet for creative expression.
